Wine Barrel Cake

This cake was created for my sister-in-law's niece birthday. She turned 26!

The Cake is an 8" round Chocolate cake covered with chocolate buttercream and filled with chocolate pudding. CHOCOLATE! CHOCOLATE and did I say Chocolate?

White Marshmallow Fondant rolled and ready to be used to cover the cake.
Smooth here and there using this easy-glide fondant smoother.
Smooth and cut excess fondant

For the Barrel, I used a brown marshmallow fondant imprinted with wood using impression wood mat fondant embosser.
Fondant Imprinted with Wood added dots using tool set or u can use any pointy thing like a toothpick?
Wood Fondant cut lengthwise
Tools used to create wood imprints and cut lengthwise.

Assembling the barrel.

Added black strip of fondant to hold wood fondant, and used the icing tip #12 made orange circles. Using the bottom and the top of the icing tip.

The Wine is real {I'm not that expert yet. I tried to look for inspiration online but too difficult for me to do and I don't have enough time to do it. Maybe in the future. *grin*}. The rest of the cake is edible.
Real Ice Wine! Grapes are made of purple Fondant. Easy to make... just roll and decorate as desired. Added a touch of leaves using green icing by using leaf tip.
